About

Olympia is one of the most gorgeous cities in the world.
The Washington State capitol is nestled between the Cascade Mountains to the east and the Olympic Mountains to the west.  It crowns the Southern Salish Sea (Puget Sound) with its captivating beauty.

By night twinkling city lights dance on the waters of Capitol Lake and Budd Inlet, blending with buoy and ship lights, while from the distance fog horns and the salty aroma of cedar and salt lull you into a peaceful sleep . . . that is unless you want to party, and there are plenty of places to enjoy the nightlife.

By day the city is bustling with power.  This is the seat of state government.  But Washingtonians know how to enjoy the best of both worlds.  Taking a break from the capitol campus, politicians are often found walking the beautiful trail around Capital Lake.
